WORLD CLASS BED LINERS

Spray Bed Liners & More

When you choose to spray Bullet Liner on your truck, your investment is not only safe but tested in very extreme conditions. Bullet Liner has been used and tested on race and chase vehicles in the prestigious Baja 1000 and in subzero conditions only found in the wilderness of Alaska.

The Bullet Liner® Difference

The Bullet Liner Look

Bullet Liner protects critical components on vehicles to survive impacts from rocks, debris and extreme use only found in these types of terrains.

Bullet Liner high tensile strength material provides a superior layer of protection our competitors cannot match. Using a high pressure system, to achieve this unique strength, distinguishes our product from other bed liner companies.

Other spray-on bed liner companies use a low pressure system that produces a softer bed liner that often is more susceptible to material failure resulting in gouging or even tears.

Bullet Liner prides itself on using higher quality raw materials to produce a fine grain texture that does not "clump" or "sag" on vertical surface. Bullet Liner looks as if it came pre-installed from the vehicle manufacture.

Bullet Liner® Coverage

Bullet Liner Coverage

Bullet Liner provides a permanent bond that conforms to every contour of your truck bed. This bond creates a barrier from moisture, rust and corrosion for the lifetime of your vehicle. Bullet Liner is resistant to most chemicals making it a superior material for use in industrial applications.

Installation:
We will apply a protective masking to ensure that your vehicle is protected from any bed liner overspray. Once that protection is installed, we proceed with the actual material spray coating:

  • Unlike other spray-on or drop-in bedliners, a Bullet Liner treatment is professionally applied at high pressure and high temperatures, bonding instantly and permanently to your truck. Made from a two-part polyurethane elastomer system, Bullet Liner uses equal parts of an "A" component, or hardener, and a "B" component, or resin. Using special equipment, the two liquids are combined to create a polyurethane elastomer with tough, durable, protective properties.
  • The Bullet Liner dries in just 3 seconds, preventing runs or pooling that can occur with a cold, low pressure spray-on product.
  • With a pre-scheduled appointment, the total job (including bed preparing, masking and spraying) will take a few hours depending on the size of the area. For best results we recommend waiting a full 24 hours before putting your new Bullet Liner to the test.

Think how much technology has changed in the past 20 years!

Bullet Liner is a product invented and produced by Claudio Burtin. He is the principal founder of Line-X. After he sold Line-X corporation, and properly waited out a non-compete clause, he was then able to develop and launch Bullet Liner. There are some major differences between the two, mostly being the UV stability and gloss retention properties of Bullet Liner over Line-X. Think of it this way. He made Line-X over 2 decades ago, and now Bullet is a newer, more advanced product. Think how much technology has changed in the past 20 years! Bullet Liner is an all around better product for the applicator and the customer.

... have abandoned their franchises and switched over to Bullet bed liners.

ChevroletForum.com

From recent inquiries it appears as though many installers of Line-X bed liners have abandoned their franchises and switched over to Bullet bed liners. It seems the same engineering genius (chemical engineer), who invented the used in Line-X, sold the company, and started up a new company using, "new an improved" products. Apparently there are a few improvements in the application and also the Line-X was prone to some sun fading and supposedly the Bullet process is more fade resistant.

... you don't need those revitalizing sprays they sell for Linex and Rhino to keep them new looking.

That is true that the designer of linex started Bullet and from what I am told he is in Georgia. My 4Wheel Parts store knows him personally and from what they told me, he has taken Linex's flaws and improved upon them. One of the problems I have had with Linex on two different trucks is that after awhile it blackwashes. You can wipe the chalky residue off with your hand. My buddy got the Bullet and it is a much better product. It stays shiny (I think it has UV protectors in it) and it doesn't chalk up. With Bullet, you don't need those revitalizing sprays they sell for Linex and Rhino to keep them new looking.

I was impressed, especially with the much lower price over LineX Premium.

Oceanside did the LineX on my previous truck and they do awesome work. The shop has been around for a long time and the owner says they will stand by the product. He explained to me why they switched. Without bashing LineX he told me that Bullet is a superior product. The guy who invented LineX sold the company and name about five years ago. His chemical company developed a new coating and he decided to start a new venture instead of selling the compound. So far, the dealers that have signed on with Bullet Liner are former LineX dealers who have jumped ship, like Oceaside. I went to the shop and spoke with them in person and they showed me some examples. I was impressed, especially with the much lower price over LineX Premium. I will be getting Bullet Liner sprayed on my truck next week!

I got it done with the Bullet Liner product. I did research and found that the guy who started Line-X sold it and he started Bullet Liner. Also, I got high recommendations by my friend who runs an Auto shop next door to the Bullet Liner guys.

Bullet Liner® FAQs

How much does the Bullet Bed Liner cost?
Bullet Bedliner price starts as low as $400 per bed.
Do I need to make an appointment?
Yes, please.
How long does it take to get a Bullet Liner installed in my truck?
Details are important us, and we are definitely not one to rush the process. Most trucks start to finish, take about 4 hours to complete. The more custom the job, the more time is required. Our unique application process means the bed liner material dries and hardens in 3-5 seconds after leaving the gun. That means your truck is dry when it leaves the store and can see "light duty" service almost immediately, however in the interest of "protecting what you love", we recommend you refrain from "heavy use" for the first 24 hours.
What happens if I damage the liner? Is it repairable?
Yes, in most cases you may have a hard time telling where the damage was.
Can I get a colored liner to match my truck?
Absolutely! Check with your local dealer(s) and verify they offer the BULLET MAGNUM SERIES line of products.
What does the warranty cover?
All of our Bullet liners carry a Lifetime Warranty against warping, cracking, chipping, peeling or coming off your bed in any way---we aren’t satisfied until you are.
What other products can you spray with Bullet Liner?
The list is endless. Almost anything you might want a thick, tough, durable coating on can be considered. Bullet Liner Of Chattanooga operates in 1,500 square feet of warehouse space and a state of the art, medium-sized spray booth---which means there is almost no job we can't handle. From lifted trucks, to trailers, midsize commercial vehicles, ATV’s or RV's---we've got you covered.
